Spring & Fall Clean Ups

Clean-ups are held beginning on May 15th and November 15th each year for residential homes & condos that have City provided garbage & recycling pick-up. If the 15th falls on the weekend, it will begin the following Monday. These clean-ups are free of charge except prepayment is required for the following to be picked up:  Freon appliances, $15/each & TV’s $20/each.  Residents must prepay their fees prior to the start of the Spring or Fall cleanups.  Payment can be made in person at the Department of Public Works at 800 W. Puetz Road between 7 a.m. & 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.  We only accept CASH or CHECK.  You may also make a check payable to the City of Oak Creek & mail to the Department of Public Works with a note as to what payment is for, your name, address & phone number. Items must be curb or roadside prior to the 15th in order to be guaranteed a pick-up. Items that will NOT be picked up are: paints, tires, batteries, fluorescent lights, hazardous materials, grass clippings, leaves and branches. Doors must be removed from refrigerators and freezers. Carpet & padding rolls must not exceed 4’ in width.
