The Oak Creek Fire Department protects a city that covers approximately 28 square miles and has a population of approximately 35,300 residents. We respond to all emergency requests from within our community, including fire, emergency medical, auto accident, and technical rescue. Acknowledging our role within Milwaukee County, we also respond to neighboring cities when requested.

We are a fulltime department, staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We have 3 shifts (A, B, and C) with each shift working 24 hour duty days. Our administrative staff works a 40 hour week, Monday through Friday.
