Alderman Jim Ruetz
Jim was appointed to fill the vacancy of former 3rd District Aldermen and current Mayor Steve Scaffidi, in May of 2012. Jim is a 1975 graduate of Racine St. Catherine High School, with a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 1980, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1989. He is the current President and General Manager of AllFasteners/All Tool Sales in Franksville. He has been married for 30 years to his wife Karen, and has a daughter Jennifer, and a son Jason.

What is unique about your District?
“The 3rd District has a great mix of single-family, multi-family, open space, and the county bike/walking path. My family has enjoyed living in the 3rd District for the past 12 years, and has spent a total of 26 years in Oak Creek.”

Why did you choose to run for Aldermen?
“I served on the Oak Creek Community Development Authority for nine years, and decided I could help the CDA, my neighbors in the 3rd District, and the city as a whole by serving on the Council.”
