Aldermanic District Five - Ken Gehl
Alderman Ken Gehl
First elected in April of 2009, Ken is a 1981 graduate of Hilbert High School, with an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1986, and a Graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1991. He is a Vice President and Supervisory Analyst for the Robert W. Baird Company. Ken is married to Annette, and has four children, Hayden, Alexandra, Katherine, and Mitchell.
What is unique about your District?
“My District is nearly completely residential, with activities centered around the two elementary schools, Shepard Hills and Meadowview.”
Why did you choose to run for Aldermen?
“I decided to run to carry on a legacy of fiscal conservatism for the constituents of the 5th District.”
District Boundaries:
Commencing at the intersection of South Chicago Road and East Oakwood Road; thence south along Chicago Road to its intersection with the Milwaukee-Racine County line; thence west along said County line to its intersection with the Soo Line railroad right-of-way; thence north along said railroad right-of-way to its intersection with STH 100; thence east along STH 100 to its intersection with South Pennsylvania Avenue; thence south along Pennsylvania Avenue to its intersection with East Oakwood Road; thence east along Oakwood Road to the point of beginning.
