Fourth of July Celebration & Fireworks

Join us on July 4th for the annual City of Oak Creek 4th of July Parade. The parade will start at 9:00am at the corner of Groveland Drive and Verdev Drive. It will wind its way through the city and end at the Legion (see the parade route below).

Bring the whole family for games, face painting, judging for a Bike / Buggy Decorating Contest and good food! Fireworks begin at dusk, on the East Middle School grounds.

Assemble for the parade at E. Groveland Drive and S. Burrell Street.

Schedule of Events

8:00am - Assemble for the parade at E. Groveland Drive and S. Burrell Street

9:00am - Parade starts at E. Groveland Drive and S. Verdev Drive

11:00am - Events and Food at The American Legion Post 434 – 9327 South Shepard Avenue

  • Free Ice cream available after the parade at the Upper Legion Concession Stand
  • *Kids Games* *Face Painting* *Roasted Corn* *Baked Potatoes* *Beverages*
  • Judging for the Bike / Buggy Decorating Contest at the Upper Legion (by the cannon)

11:30am - Pay It Forward To Our Veterans” performance by 484th Army Band at upper legion ball diamond

12:00pm - Events and Food at The American Legion Post 434 (9327 S. Shepard Ave.)

12:00pm to 4:00pm - Karaoke by Mechel

4:00pm to 8:00pm - Music by Larry Lynne Band

Dusk - Fireworks at East Middle School (9330 S. Shepard Ave.)
