We've added another greater partner at Drexel Town Square! Froedtert Health will be joining the Oak Creek Public Library and City Hall, Water Street Brewery, Sheraton Four Points Hotel and Meijer at the site of our new downtown, and today's announcement is just the first step in what will be a long term commitment to our city. Below is the release that was sent out to local media today.

Oak Creek Mayor Steve Scaffidi is pleased to announce today that Froedtert Health plans to lease space for a significant primary and specialty care health center as part of the Drexel Town Square mixed use development in Oak Creek.

The new health center will become part of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network, which includes eastern Wisconsin’s only academic medical center. The Froedtert & MCW network consists of 30 community clinics, a medical group, a Cancer Network and three hospitals, including its flagship hospital, Froedtert Hospital, which is MCW’s primary adult teaching affiliate.

"This announcement adds another significant partner to our new downtown at Drexel Town Square," Mayor Scaffidi said. "This facility will offer residents of Oak Creek and the surrounding communities enhanced, convenient primary care, and also many of the specialty health care services for which Froedtert & MCW health network is renowned.”

“We’re pleased to be invited by the City of Oak Creek to be part of this exciting new downtown development, “ said Cathy Jacobson, president and chief executive officer of Froedtert Health. “Our plans are still in the early stages, but I can say with complete confidence that we’re committed to providing health care services that respond to the needs and preferences of this community.”

HSA PrimeCare, the developer of the project, partners with some of the premier health care institutions in the nation to create development/ownership, project management, leasing, monetization, and property management real estate solutions that address the needs of today’s patients while satisfying the strategic and financial goals of the health system. HSA PrimeCare is a leading developer and owner of medical office buildings throughout the Midwest.

Froedtert Health joins previously announced occupants at Drexel Town Square that include the Oak Creek Public Library and City Hall, Water Street Brewery, Sheraton Four Points Hotel, a Meijer store, as well as residential communities planned by Barrett Visionary Development and Wired Properties.
